If you’re into the infamous MC Hammer pant, then you’ll love what we’ve got! It has been pretty hard to find a quality denim drop crotch pant this season, so when we came across these 3 different styles by Nikita, you can only imagine our excitement! All three styles have a tapered bottom, which gives them the versatility to be dressed up with a pair of your favorite heels and chunky platforms or dressed down with boots, sandals or sneakers. The denim is super soft and the loose fit makes them comfortable and light enough to throw on and lounge around the house in or take them to town and move around in.
Nikita is an Icelandic brand that was created by women who loved fashion but above all loved to skate, surf and snowboard. Elements of streetwear are always thrown into the mix and collaborations with international artists and designers help keep the brand edgy yet mellow and fun. We grabbed a couple of our staff to check them out for you, styled in and around Lavish&Squalor.
Alanna is rocking the Comrade jeans in Vulcano (shown above). She took a casual and edgy approach to these almost black denim by pairing them with the Insight Road Trippin’ tank, Standard Issue vest and lace-up boots.
Check these denim sweats. The best thing about the Departure jeans are that they can be worn as high or as low as you please! Though they are loose like a boyfriend jean, they have a slim silhouette that makes them feminine and fun. Here they are paired with a light Cheap Monday strap tank and white Cheap Monday Tobias Jean Jacket and Rokin’s Fisherman cut-out sandals.
These Arrive jeans are super thin and soft which makes them the perfect summer pant. The side buttons and pleated detailing on the front make for a figure that’s not too bulky but casual with some serious attitude. Brittanee has paired them with a Muttonhead Two-Tone Dress Shirt and Rokin Fisherman cut-out sandals. Now she’s ready for a coffee date with pals or night on the town!
If you think you can rock these, you can. Check for Harem pants on our main level, ladies.
