We here at Lavish&Squalor take pride in our independence and abilities in offering you experiences that reach beyond our retail walls. We love to expose you to authentic brand cultures and cumulatively share in ‘the lifestyle’. One brand we know that has been much apart of fashions political, street-cultural and we’re sure, your growing years is none other than, Fred Perry.
Fred Perry recently teamed up with Don Letts, member of Big Audio Dynamite and director of doc “Tales of Dr. Funkenstein” and The Clash’s video, “Rock the Casbah” to create a series of films on the ideas and ideals that drove emerging subcultures, throughout Fred Perry’s 60 year brand history. The series chronicles the emerging cultures of the original teds and mods, UK punk, the influence of black heritage and the worldwide effect of the cultural revolution of the late 20th century.
L&S has been chosen to screen these films, Thursday the 13th of December on our Upper Level so we’ve coupled it with a 30% discount for you from 8-9pm, that day on all of our Fred Perry merchandise. Come enjoy the films, popcorn and a cheers with us from 9-10pm.
Fred Perry followers, you won’t want to miss this.
